Dr. Elizabeth Banks
Dr. Elizabeth Banks is the owner of Banks Veterinary Clinic. She was born and raised in Nicholasville, attended the University of Kentucky and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. When she was in veterinary school, she would often look at the land where the community of Beaumont now resides and dream about the day where she would open a clinic of her own. When asked why she wanted to be a veterinarian, she says it is the human-animal bond. Her interests include pro-active wellness care, geriatric wellness care, oncology, dermatology, general dentistry and soft tissue surgery. To Dr. Banks, one of the joys of veterinary medicine is developing relationships and working as a team with the owners for their pet's care. In her spare time, she enjoys making memories with her husband, Justin, and her three biggest accomplishments-Matthew, Tyler and Andrew. And, what fun is it to be a vet without a full house of pets? Dr. Banks shares her home with a Black Lab named Parker, a Goldendoodle named Max, and 4 cats named Wheezy, Fergie, Trixie and Mackie.
